Twitter Favorites from the SAP Related Group

No idea why but I thought an aggregated view of tweets, selected as favorites by my twitter friends, can be good for my eyes and brain development :) . So I tried creating one using a few of the available online services :

• Aggregating the twitter favorites of a few of my twitter friends: Twitter feeds [ e.g. http://www.twitter.com/favorites/user.rss ] are collected using yahoo pipes.
  Example : http://www.twitter.com/favorites/rmtiwari.rss  http://www.twitter.com/favorites/oliver.rss http://www.twitter.com/favorites/marilynpratt.rss 

• Result Feed from Yahoo pipe : [ http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run?_id=Iqwa5Qoz3hG_1LKZPm7D0g&_render=rss ] can be used in readers or widgets directly.

• Feedburner: However, I thought of burning the rss feed in Feedburner. Final feed from feedburner is http://feeds2.feedburner.com/SapGroupTwitterFavorites . Anyone can use this feed in their Blog reader or to create a widget or Google Gadget. 

• Publish: I've also created a simple Feedburner BuzzBoost, in case you want to show this on your SAP related site or Blog. You can copy and paste the code below in your post . However, please consider that this is still in experiment phase. I will probably create a widget for this feed later.

• As of now, twitter ids inlcuded are : @hansatsap @steverumsby @yojibee @rmtiwari @ccmehil @jspath55 @njames @thorstenster @jonerp @marilynpratt and @oliver . Also, please comment here or tweet me @rmtiwari , if you are a SAP consultant and want your twitter favorites to be included.

XFruits and widgetbox:


Earlier, I tried with another service XFruits [ http://www.xfruits.com/rmtiwari/ ] similar to yahoo pipes. It generates an aggregate feed as http://xfruits.com/rmtiwari/?id=65622 . The widget below was then created through http://www.widgetbox.com/ . Also you can check the twitter favorites content on Mobile through the webpage http://xfruits.com/rmtiwari/?id=65606.

However, XFruits.com mashup was not reliable so I thought of using Yahoo pipes instead.
